Truffle Burger

INGREDIENTS

• 300gm Beef chuck, minced
• 2x Sliced cheddar cheese
• 200gm Portobello mushrooms
• 12mL Olive oil
Salt
Pepper
• 50g HELLMANN’S Real Aioli 2.35 kg
• 6g Truffle oil
• 80g Streaky bacon
• 2x Brioche buns, sliced in half
• 10g Cos lettuce
Beer Battered Chips

Instructions

1. Burger
o Season the mince well and form into 10 patties using a mould.
o Grill the burger until medium-rare, placing cheese on top to melt for the final minute.
2. Mushrooms
o Roast the mushrooms in the oven with oil, salt and pepper for 20 minutes.
3. Truffle Mayonnaise
o Combine HELLMANN’S Aioli and truffle oil in a bowl.
4. Bacon
o Cook until crispy.
5. To Serve
o Grill the buns; place cos lettuce on top of the bottom bun, then beef patty with cheese, bacon, roasted mushroom and truffle mayonnaise. Top it off with a bun.
o Serve with beer battered chips.
6. Chef’s Tip
o The truffle flavour works well on burgers due to high fat and full flavour.
o Use a good quality cut like chuck for your mince with a good amount of fat for a full-flavoured, tender patty.
